Longing to flow

In stagnation's grip, I feel stuck Nothing moves forward, ennui's dark cloud I reach for my phone, a habit born of woe Brewing disappointment, a bitter brew The quote reverberates: "Stop existing, start living" A call to break free, to flow like a river giving But questions swirl, like a maze with no escape Zero answers come, leaving my soul void Purposelessness glares, a haunting stare Emptiness echoes, "Why indeed, why so today?

An eye catchy Hibiscus in our garden

Image
This beautiful yellow Hibiscus flower, with its striking red center, is from the pots my eldest sister left behind before going to the USA. The petals are vibrant and have a delicate texture, surrounded by lush green foliage. The red center adds a stunning contrast, making the flower stand out even more. It looks like it is thriving well in our garden! This color is a new addition to our garden and always stands out. The central part of the Hibiscus flower is quite striking. It has a deep red color that radiates outwards into the base of the petals, creating a vivid contrast with the bright yellow petals. In the very center, there is a prominent stigma and style, surrounded by several yellow-tipped stamens. The overall effect is eye-catching, with the red center drawing attention to the intricate details of the flower's reproductive structures.

Outshining all others

Image
This periwinkle, outshining all others, stands tall in full bloom, its vibrant flowers and lush green leaves spread wide, basking in the brightness of the day. As the sunlight dances across its petals, the beauty of this delicate flower shines forth, a true delight unmatched by any other.

Unyielding melody

Unyielding melody Not finding life easy, Not yielding to currents, Several adjustments and few compromises, Spirit remains strong, unmoved despite turbulence. Vagaries, oddities, singularities, Beethoven or Tyagaraja, I tune to what I understand, And my trained ears, Blurred images and slur in conversations. Still, it is not empty or umpty dumty."

Glory in the green

Image
A delicate Purple Heart nestles among the lush green foliage of Nandhanam, like a newborn swaddled in tender wraps. Just inches away, bright yellow blooms proclaim their vibrant presence, each one declaring its unique charm, though small in stature. And then, I chanced upon another Purple Heart, nestled in a discarded tire, surrounded by even more radiant blooms. Glory be to nature's resilience and beauty!

Everyday I get better

Ruellia...

Image
Ruellia, also known as wild petunias, are plants with long, grass-like leaves and beautiful flowers, which can be pink among other colors. Today, they made a dramatic appearance in the garden and brought a feeling of celebration. It's as if each day they tune a new song, reminding us that every day can be a celebration if we choose the right tune.
