Life's unyielding paradox
Death is the best thing life can give,
Yet it's the last thing anyone desires.
In death, as in life, we remain in the dark,
Uncertain of how it approaches and departs.
For ages, many mysteries have eluded us,
With this being the most profound.
We oscillate between taking life lightly or with great gravity,
Ultimately, we must bow to this inevitable truth.
Man's nature is unyielding, persistent,
Even though our existence is fleeting and uncertain.
