Melodies of Leela: A Portrait of Rara Venu Gopa Bala

In February 2021, I painted a depiction coinciding with the swarajati "Rara Venu Gopa Bala" being played on flute. The figure features a blue face, yellow turban, white nose, and a peacock adorning the hair, albeit faded, with garlands around the neck. With closed eyes, the portrayal suggests a tranquil state of mind amidst the flowing melodies of life. Reflecting on Lord Krishna's story, it reveals enduring lessons amidst ceaseless melodies and divine play (leela).
