Symbiosis


Up on marri chettu, a green parrot's body merges into leaves and its beak into fruits beautifully capturing the delicate and harmonious relationship between the parrot and the marri chettu (banyan tree). A very close, persistent observation will bring out the image. It speaks to the symbiotic bond they share, where the bird and the tree are so intertwined that they almost become one entity. Jumping from branch to branch, is it vivacity or restlessness? An adorable view that comes out. The tree knows the bird and the bird the tree. A symbiosis so dear, only known in merging, losing identities. This vivid imagery highlights the blend of nature's calm and vitality, showing how the parrot's movements—whether seen as vivacity or restlessness—bring out an adorable and endearing view. 

The mutual recognition between the tree and the bird, their merging and loss of individual identities, symbolizes a deep and affectionate connection that is both profound and touching.

Resilience ....

In my garden, I found several broken stone pieces scattered, each bearing its unique shape and form. Among these stones, one caught my attention. I had recently come across a quotation online that resonated deeply with me: "In the end, we all become stories." This thought lingered, compelling me to consider how each life, if understood and articulated well, could indeed be a compelling story. I often found that my shared experiences didn’t always elicit the response I hoped for, while gossip about me seemed far more intriguing. Inspired, I decided to transform the stone into a keepsake bearing the profound quote. After cleaning it meticulously, I used liquid paint to inscribe the words.
