Thorns of change

 Thorns of change

Heroine:

"Flowers wilted, lifeless, diseased.

Look at the thorns—unafraid of wilting away.

I prefer being a thorn.

This is the woman of today.

Recalling times gone by,

when women were seen as soft and gentle, like tender flowers.

How notions and mores have changed!

Men were once depicted as chivalrous saviors.

Today, roles are swapping.

In the cauldron of change, everything is adrift.
