Life's Indifferent Rhythm

Life's rhythm beats on, unbroken,
Despite Nostradamus' ominous prophecies spoken.
Meteorites may hurtle toward Earth's door,
Yet still we eat, sleep, and face life's roar.

The mysteries persist, a haunting refrain:
Why are we here? What lies beyond life's pain?
La la la...

And so, life goes on, in all its strife,
A chaotic dance, a fragile, fleeting life.
Some toil to survive, their daily bread in sight,
Others lose sleep, haunted by the ghosts of night.
Each soul, lost in its own world, adrift and alone,
As the universe unfolds, indifferent to our mortal throne.
